New Music From Whitney Houston – I Didn’t Know My Own Strength + Concert Announcement

You knew when we heard the news that Whitney Houston was releasing her first album in seven years that it was going to cause a fury and a mad rush to hear it before the September 1st release date. That was last month and this month we’ve got our first leak. Listen to I Didn’t Know My Own Strength written and produced by music heavyweights Diane Warren and David Foster. I can’t imagine this is the final version, sounds a little rough but it gives you a good idea of where Whitney’s going on the new album titled I Look To You. I love the message of the song. Sounds like classic Whitney Houston but I admit I’m a little worried. You know how classic artists try to stay relevant by doing what’s “hot” today? I think I would have just signed off the internet for good if there was any autotune on there. What do you think of the song?
Below the song I’ve posted a video from Good Morning America where they made a special announcement about Whitney. Here’s another heads up. Go to WhitneyHouston.com to enter the contest to win VIP passes to two listening events in mid-July in New York City and Los Angeles. Hurry, contest ends on July 13th. Welcome back Whitney. You were missed.

sounds gospel-esque… im so proud of her for coming back.
