Eric Roberson’s The Vault, Vol. 1 Now Available
UPDATE 7/02/09: Eric Roberson’s “The Vault, Vol. 1″ is now available.
Here’s my original post (6/08/09) if you need more info:
Eric Roberson is reissuing his hard to find album The Vault Vol. 1. This is the album before the popular 2004 released The Vault, Vol. 1.5. The Vault 1.0 featuring 11 Erro penned tracks and production from Osunlade and Redhead Kingpin among others quickly became a collector’s item. He discontinued it after selling several songs from the album to other artists including a favorite song of mine, Hold On, which Dwele released on his “Subject” album.
Oh, what the heck. Since I’m having me own little happy re-release moment I’ll go ahead and play both. To the people keeping count, yes this is the 134th time I’ve worked any remote mention of Dwele into a post. Ok, I’ll play another song from The Vault, Vol. 1, One Time ft. Jill Scott. I hope that makes everybody happy. Eric Roberson will be making us happy when he reissues The Vault, Vol. 1 in a few weeks. I’ll keep you posted. Eric Roberson’s new album “Music Fan First” is scheduled to be released on August 25th. We just learned the new album contains 17 songs and features Lalah Hathaway, Sy Smith, Wayna, Brandon Hines and W. Ellington Felton.

Ah I love ‘One Time’ with Ms. Scott … I have it on her ‘Experience’ live album.
I have loads of Erro tracks but only have ‘Left’ as a full album. Need to track the others down asap.
—SoulUKThis re-issue should probably take care of a few items on your wish list.
—Honeylol, hard to find, try IMPOSSIBLE. Try 5yrs ago you had to pay 75 bucks for a copy. Try that album is harder to get ahold of than Dwele’s Rise album. (I can work Dwele references too :)
