Soulive (Eric Krasno, Alan Evans and Neal Evans) celebrates their 10 year anniversary by preparing to release their 7th studio album Up Here on a brand new label, Royal Family Records. Following it’s digital release in April, the physical CD will be released on July 7th. The CD features 9 upbeat tracks and an exclusive, never before seen DVD of Soulive performing at The Blue Note Tokyo. In addition to the DVD, fans will also receive a free digital download of the album.

Soulive has some great songs in their discography and have played with everyone from Stevie Wonder to Amel Larrieux to Talib Kweli, but one of my favorite Soulive songs is Romantic ft. Stephanie McKay from the hard to find Blue Note Trip: Sunrise/Sunset CD. I’ve included that audio too [via me]. You may also remember they did the same song with Goapele.
