Raheem Devaughn Sets A Release Date For His Free Album
Remember Raheem Devaughn’s last video where he called out his record company Jive, said they didn’t see his value or respect his work so he was releasing his album for free? Now he’s set a release date, at least for a mixtape. In a new video a more low key Raheem tells us that his new “The Art Of Noise” mixtape will be released on June 15th via free download on the net. This will be followed by his album “The Love & War Masterpiece.” No details on how and when that will be released. He will be making some appearances around the country.
In the DMV area, he’ll be performing at the Merriweather Post Pavilion on June 6th as part of the Capital Jazz Fest and again in August with Erykah Badu. He’ll be at Detroit’s Chene Park on June 19th with India.Arie. At the end of May he will be appearing at a Dr. Cornel West event, and this summer will be touring with Biz Markie and doing a military tour overseas.

Thanks for the heads up. I love his mixtapes. Gonna post the date on my blog’s upcoming releases calendar.
