Prince Performs on Ellen + Sneak Peak at Tavis Interview (Videos)
In case you missed it, or just want to watch it again, we’ve got a video of Prince’s performance today on the Ellen show. Prince performed Crimson & Clover and it was like a family reunion with Sheila E. on drums, Rhonda Smith on bass, Renato Neto and Morris Hayes on keys. I’m feeling the Prince nerd/rocker look.
Now we’ve got the Prince, Tavis Smiley interview to look forward to on Monday, April 27 and Tuesday, April 28. Prince protege Bria Valente will also appear on Tuesday’s show. Watch the sneak peaks below thanks to Dr. Funkenberry and Tavis/PBS. I can’t believe I’m saying this about a man, but I’m digging the whole nerd/gangsta-glam/high-heels look too.

Crimson and Clover LIVE by Prince is ahhhhhh. He is so expressive with his eyes and of course his guitar. His voice is flawless. He obviously practices OFTEN. I love it. I can’t wait to see these interviews with Tavis Smiley. You know Prince has really taught so many of us who are interested in learning about the music business through his interviews with Tavis over the years. Some people I have read from other sources say that Prince doesn’t talk about much but just the music business. Obviously he is trying to tell artists to be smart, wise and know what the hell this music business is about. That is what I admire about him. In addition to being a fantastic and gifted musician, he has a heart which some people don’t think but he does. Thank you for sharing, Honey. Princey POO POO power!! : D
