Well, maybe it's only really really good, and for nostalgia's sake, I'm giving it greatness. Regardless, If you're in your late twenties or thirties and remember these songs, it's a treat. Night Tracks was what I stayed up for on Friday Nights. I often fell asleep because I was so young and couldn't hang. I made my sister wake me up when Thriller premiered though. I like how you described it as more of a respectful effort than a mocking effort, because that's exactly what it was. Zo! is a smooth cat, and Phonte can do no wrong. True talents. I'll support these guys. I urge those unfamiliar with their work to check them out. You won't be disappointed. Yeah this is a great CD.
