When I joined Myspace back in late 2005, fortunately one of the 1st people that I crossed paths with was Vonnie “Honey” Woods out of Houston, TX. Honey is seriously holding it down with a weekly internet show called Soul 2 Soul (projectvibe.net), a morning radio show called Honey Soul’s Sunrise (90.1 FM, KPFT Houston), and her site HoneySoul.com.

One day we somehow got on the topic of Dabrye’s “Piano” & I mentioned that I was toying with a mix that fits that style. So, I thought I would stretch a little for this mix for her, & came up with this spacey, trippy, blunted mix of jazz infused hip hop tunes.

Big shouts go out to Freddie Cruger and Byron the Aquarius & Onra of The Big Payback …keep reppin’ for hip hop & soul!

Alright, let’s see what I came up with for my girl Honey…who I would like to say thanks for “Giving Soul Music A Voice”!
