Conversation with Randevyn

Randevyn on Soul 2 Soul

Randevyn (pronounced Ran-dev-in) takes us on a soulful ride. He knows a little something about traveling musically and otherwise so he is the perfect conductor. Randevyn’s musical journey began in Europe at age 10 singing leads in his father’s gospel choir. After returning to the US at 13, Randevyn’s father (a singing preacher) began teaching Randevyn how to play the piano. As a teenager Randevyn sang with Stellar Award winning Joe Pace and the Colorado Mass Choir. He moved to Atlanta where he’s shared the stage with India.Arie, Floetry, and Bilal, and has done background work for Ludacris, and producers Jazze Pha, Rodney Jerkins, and LaShon Daniels.

Randevyn’s exceptional debut album Soltrain is marked by passionate vocals on songs like “Supanatural” and infectious grooves like “Dear Farah.” It showcases the Atlanta based artist’s singing, producing and musicianship with a genre defying combination of R&B, gospel, hip hop and more that may best be described as pure soul. Randevyn is on an inspirational voyage that is a both a testament to finding the necessary means to do what he loves and his personal quest to develop his art and share his music with the world. His next stop is in music outlets everywhere, on award shows and on the airwaves near you. Soltrain is available online, at his site and in stores everywhere.

Yo, I like this kat Randevyn, I heard his music for the first time last year in Atlanta, at the Atlantis Music Conference. He has a tight stage show as well, the interview was good and you def. can feel that he is a humble artist and is ready for the industry. I just can’t understand why deserving artist such as Randevyn with the great music that he brings does not have a deal. We need real R&B/Soul back with artist like Randevyn. Keep doing ya thing man, it has to pay off.
