Soul 2 Soul with Ronald Isley, Mar. 30

Ronald Isley is a living legend. The Cincinatti native and his brothers first topped the charts with “Shout” in 1959. After almost fifty years of delivering songs with his trademark smooth vocal style, he hasn’t followed the trends, he’s set the standard. Ronald Isley’s vast discography includes funky grooves as well as love and seduction songs easily recognizable within the first few notes. His musical journey has been marked by numerous awards and accolades, label ownership, classic songs, best selling albums, collaborations, and the birth of his alter-ego Mr. Biggs. Continuing in the Isley Brothers tradition with brother Ernie (of the often imitated guitar licks), Ronald Isley has seen many fads and phases in music but sticks to the proven formula that has made him and The Isley Brothers the longest charted family group in music history.
The Isley Brothers latest CD Baby Makin’ Music (Feat. Ronald Isley AKA Mr. Biggs) is scheduled to be released on May 9. After five decades of making music, if anyone knows how to set the mood for making babies, it’s Ronald Isley and The Isley Brothers.
