She sounds like a new yorker to me rather than a southern girl, a sistah whose been hurt before. The music industry i.e. the machine and lost loves makes you hard like that. I get Joi though. Sometimes you have to make your own opportunities and empower yourself through verse. Being an independent and easy, freedom comes with a price, you pay your own way. I applaude Joi for that. I'm from knoxville tennessee so, big up to the tennessee artists. I wish her success with label. Thanks for posting this one V I felt this sista V you did it again, what a great interview.
