My Best Friend Gizmo

I debated whether to post this or not. I'm dealing with some personal pain. I decided to mention this because it really is affecting me and I felt that I needed to acknowledge my love for my best friend. My little pekingese Gizmo, who would have been 16 years old in January, passed away Saturday night in his sleep. He had a long, good life and his heart just gave out. Now anyone who knows me knows how much I loved that little dog. He really was my spoiled little child. He was my baby. So if my posting or answering comments, emails, or responding to anyone is a little erratic or non existent (which I don't think it will be but if it is) then you know what's going on. I'm coping. I'll deal. Life goes on.

I would like to thank everyone for the kind words, the compassion and the love. You really have helped me alot and I am forever grateful. I am doing much better though I still have my moments. I do cherish my time with Gizmo and my memories. I'm getting back on track here and it's great to have my music to help comfort me as well. But what helps the most is your thoughtful words, your offers to talk, your understanding and just knowing that we share some common experiences and feelings. I just wanted you all to know what your compassion meant to me. Love you all.
