« To My Radio Blogging Valentines ♥ | Main | What 's New » Thin Line Between Love and Hate♥ Happy Valentine's Day Everyone! We all know that there's a thin line between love and hate. The Persuaders told us that back in 1971. I thought it would be fun to spotlight both sides of love for Valentine's Day....the good and the bad. I've done two radio.blogs. On the first one, I've included songs that speak to all the wonderment of love. That indescribably endearing feeling that just makes your world a better place. Even if you lost it, you are just glad that you were blessed for that moment and you'd spend a lifetime in pursuit of it again. Most of the songs on this one (the first one in particular) literally have the ability to make me cry. Yeah, I know I'm an emotional jellyfish, LOL. I stuck mainly with the tried and true classics. The songs on second radio.blog are for all the love haters. The ones who can't understand what the big deal is and say "fuck love". If you've ever been been hurt, lied to, or cheated on in the name of love, you can probably relate. I probably had more fun choosing these songs. I had over 30 songs initially so I had to narrow it down quite a bit. There are alot of woman/man scorned songs out there. The 1st one (the good side) is dedicated to my husband who's been giving me good di...uhhh lovin for the past 15 years (longer if you count the courtship). The man who kisses me every morning before he leaves for work and every evening when he returns. The way he lets it linger just for a moment longer than a "peck" speaks volumes to my heart. The second one (the bad side) isn't for anyone in particular although I guess it should go out to my 1st serious boyfriend. The one who broke my heart and gave me a frame of reference for choosing those songs...punk azz, LOL.
