What 's New
New Releases have been updated. I was looking forward to Julie Dexter's newest but they pushed the date back to Feb. 22. OK, they are making it hard for me to want do a new release radio.blog this friday.
Speaking of things not getting done, I've been slacking again on updating the Listening Booth with new music so here's a hot Nas track, Talk of New York to make up for it. Did I mention I was a Nas fan and we have the same birthday? Ok, maybe I mentioned that once...or 200 times, LOL.
From okayplayer.com, some Foreign Exchange "Connected" Tour video with Little Brother and Darien Brockington. Also from OKP, an mp3 from Foreign Exchange live, and some new sounds from Lawless Element produced by Madlib and Magnif (look under "now playing").
MTV is leaking Omarion's "O". Can someone listen for me and tell me if it's worth the time?
"Come on, it's a fashion show," Rock told the magazine. "What straight black man sits there and watches the Oscars? Show me one. And they don't recognize comedy, and you don't see a lot of black people nominated, so why should I watch it?"
That
statement by Oscar host Chris Rock in Entertainment Weekly supposedly has some academy members calling for his removal as host. Maybe I have a strange sense of humor but the truth can be funny and what's untrue in this statement? I guess they thought they hired Cuba Gooding Jr., LOL.
From EUR. America's Next Top Model Eva Pigford's will be the new "booty" of Nelly's Apple Bottom Jeans.
Will Smith's "Hitch" set the record for the best debut weekend for a romantic comedy with $43.1 million in its first three days. A property co-owned by his wife Jada has been seized in a drug trafficking investigation. Jada is not a suspect in the probe.
If you haven't seen enough Grammy pics already (under headlines) here are some from Usher's private grammy party.
